A character teaser of Saptaswa Basu’s film Doctor Bakshi dropped recently. The film, which highlights a set of medical scams, revolves around a charming doctor who takes up his own path of justice, a writer who is caught in a web of mystery and a criminal recently out of jail.

“The character teaser depicts Subhashree as a writer (Mrinalini) who is out on a vacation and is exploring new ideas for her new novel. However, a series of mysterious incidents engulf her. The character teaser directly addresses the hook point in our storyline and gives the audience a feel that this film is made for a big-screen experience. This teaser has been edited (by Pabitra Jana) keeping the focus on the look and shade of Mrinalini Sen, the author. The first teaser had a bluish tone for Parambratada (Doctor Bakshi), the second teaser had a reddish palette for Bonny (Aditya) and in this one we have used green in subtle ways to characterise it and also to denote three primary colours (RGB) for three primary characters. There is a feel of illusion and trap towards the end of the teaser, which will make the audience wait for the trailer and finally the film,” said Saptaswa.
