Actress Sanya Malhotra, who plays one of the girl gang members in Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan, grooved with fans to the foot-tapping number Zinda Banda in Mumbai’s Gaiety Galaxy theatre during a show of the film.
Sharing a video of her dance inside the theatre on Friday, the 31-year-old actress revelled in the post-release frenzy of Jawan. The video shows Sanya dancing merrily to the song along with other fans. She wore a blue striped shirt coupled with white pants and yellow shoes. Mumbai-based writer-director Sumit Arora also made a brief appearance in the clip.
A day before Jawan’s release on Thursday, Sanya had posted a behind-the-scenes video from her 2016 debut film Dangal in which the actress was seen mimicking Shah Rukh’s iconic arms-stretched-out pose in a stadium. “Dangal se Jawan tak ❤️ Itni shiddat se maine ye manifest kiya hai, ki har zarre ne ye fulfil karne ki saazish ki hai,” she wrote in the caption.
In Atlee-helmed Jawan, Shah Rukh Khan leads a gang of girls to accomplish his mission. The group features Sanya Malhotra, Priyamani, Sanjeeta Bhattacharya, Ridhi Dogra, Lehar Khan, Aaliyah Qureishi, Girija Oak Godbole and Ashlesha Thakur. The movie, which hit the theatres on Thursday, also stars Nayanthara and Vijay Sethupathi.
