“I am really excited about Ghalib Hona Hai because it’s truly an honour to sing a composition by Sanjay Leela Bhansali sir. I have dreamt of working on a collaboration with him for a very long time and finally the world will get to experience this audio-visual treat. Vocally, Sanjay sir has explored a very different side of me and I’m glad that he pushed me beyond my limits to give my absolute best, and nothing short of it,” said Armaan.

Papon’s Dard Pattharon Ko song, penned by Kumaar, is a classical song with a modern touch.

“I have a special place for ghazals in my heart. Collaborating with Mr Bhansali on such a heartfelt album, which is his first original music album, has been a pleasure and an honour,” he said.

Singer Rashid Khan has weaved magic with his voice in the classical number Gham Ba Hone, penned by Turaz.

“Working with Sanjay Leela Bhansali always brings out the best in us. This Sukoon album is one of a kind,” he said.

Pratibha Baghel, known for her soulful voice, has sung Har Ek Baat, written by Ghalib. Speaking about her song, Pratibha said, “Super thrilled and honoured to be a part of the Maestro Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s musical creation . It is nothing but a dream come true.”

Shail Hada, who has rendered his voice to quite a few Bhansali songs, reunites with the filmmaker for these modern classical melodies. Muskurahat and Siva Tere have also been written by Turaz.

With Siva Tere, Bhansali introduces the fresh voice of Madhubanti Bagchi. The lyrics for this song are penned by Turaz.

Speaking about her association with Bhansali, Madhubanti said, “It was an honour to be featured in sir’s (Bhansali) first non-film album along with some of the best artistes of our country. Hope the album receives love and admiration from the listeners as well.”

Shreya Ghoshal, who has worked extensively with Bhansali over the years, has rendered her voice to the songs Tuje Bhi Chand and Qaraar in Sukoon.
