Sanjay Dutt is set to join Akshay Kumar and Riteish Deshmukh in the upcoming fifth instalment of the Housefull film franchise, producer Sajid Nadiadwala announced on Saturday.
Directed by Tarun Mansukhani, the comedy film will also star Anil Kapoor, Abhishek Bachchan, Nana Patekar, John Abraham, Kriti Sanon and Chunky Panday in important roles. Housefull 5 is scheduled to begin filming in the UK in August 2024.

The first Housefull movie, directed by Sajid Khan, released in 2010. It featured Akshay Kumar alongside Jiah Khan, Arjun Rampal, Jacqueline Fernandez, Lara Dutta and Chunky Panday. The sequel, also directed by Sajid Khan, came out in 2012, followed by Sajid-Farhad-helmed Housefull 3 in 2016 and Farhad Samji’s Housefull 4 in 2019.
Housefull 5 is expected to premiere in theatres on June 6, 2025.
