After the success of Hatyapuri last year, Sandip Ray is back with yet another Feluda adventure. However, his latest venture Nayan Rahasya, based on a novella of the same name penned by Satyajit Ray, is set for a summer release instead of Christmas.
Surinder Films, the production house backing Nayan Rahasya, unveiled the motion poster of the upcoming suspense thriller and revealed that the film will hit theatres on May 10.
“Feluda is coming back! Presenting the Official Motion Poster of #NayanRahasya. A film by Sandip Ray, releasing on 10th May at your nearest theaters,” Surinder Films wrote on Instagram alongside the motion poster.
Indraneil Sengupta is set to step into the shoes of the iconic detective for a second time. Ayush Das will play Feluda’s cousin Topshe, while Abhijit Guha will reprise the role of Jatayu in Nayan Rahasya.
Nayan Rahasya revolves around a gifted young boy named Nayan with remarkable mathematical prowess. Thanks to his ability to answer questions about numbers, he becomes a huge draw at a circus. His talent attracts the attention of criminals and Feluda has to step in to protect Nayan from people trying to kidnap him.
Meanwhile, Srijit Mukherji is also currently working on the second season of his web series Feludar Goyendagiri, based on the novella Bhuswarga Bhayankar. He recently wrapped the Kashmir leg of his shoot for the Hoichoi series. Tota Roy Choudhury plays Feluda in Srijit’s web series with Kalpan Mitra as Topshe and Anirban Chakrabarti as Jatayu.
