Samantha Ruth Prabhu’s tension melted into relief as moviegoers responded positively to her new movie Kushi, the actress revealed on Friday, sharing three pictures of herself alongside a video clip showing currency notes flying inside theatres during her introduction scene in the film.

The Yashoda actress posted the photos and video on Instagram, showcasing her pre- and post-release moods as well as the madness inside the theatres on the opening day of the Telugu-language romantic drama, which also features Vijay Deverakonda.

The first photo shared by Samantha shows her post-release mood. She looks happy and makes the heart sign with her fingers while sitting inside a cafe. The next two images, which display her pre-release mood, shows the Shakuntalam actress getting tense as she lunges forward to check her phone and biting her nails in anticipation.

The video clip shows currency notes flying inside theatres and people cheering as soon as Sqmantha’s character is introduced on the screen.

“It never gets easier, it’s the possibility of having a dream come true that makes life interesting. Written and directed by Shiva Nirvana and produced by Mythri Movie Makers, Kushi released worldwide on September 1. The film also features Sachin Khedekar, Saranya Ponvannan, Murali Sharma, Lakshmi, Rohini, Vennela and Kishore Jayaram.
