Samantha Ruth Prabhu on Thursday shared a new poster and release date of her and Vijay Deverakonda’s upcoming Telugu-language romantic drama film Kushi.

The film, which was earlier slated to release in 2022, will now hit the theatres on September 1.

“Whole heart🤍 #Kushi,” she wrote alongside the poster, which shows Samantha and Vijay holding hands. Samantha carries an adorable puppy while Vijay is holding onto his tiffin box bag.

Written and directed by Shiva Nirvana and bankrolled by Mythri Movie Makers, the film was earlier scheduled to release in cinemas on December 23, 2022 in Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Malayalam.

Samantha earlier shared a poster of the film on Instagram which announced the previous release date. “This Christmas- NewYears ❤️ An Explosion of Joy, laughter, happiness & Love. A Grand Family experience!💕 #KUSHI Telugu Tamil Kannada Malayalam Dec 23 Worldwide Release,” reads the caption of the previous poster.

The poster dropped last year shows Vijay in traditional Kashmiri attire and a sari-clad Samantha.

Earlier last year, a glimpse of the title track of Kushi was also unveiled by Samantha on Instagram

The music for the film is composed by Hesham Abdul Wahab, who rose to fame with the soundtrack of the Malayalam-language film Hridayam.

Kushi will also feature Jayaram, Sachin Khedekar, Murali Sharma, Vennela Kishore and Lakshmi.
