A.R. Murugadoss’ upcoming film Sikandar, starring Salman Khan in the titular role, went on floors on June 27, confirmed Warda Khan S Nadiadwala, sharing photos from the set on social media.
“And the action begins today!! Need all your love and blessings #SajidNadiadwala’s #Sikandar. Directed by @a.r.murugadoss. Releasing in cinemas EID 2025,” Warda captioned the photos on Instagram.
The pictures show Warda and Murugadoss in the same frame with Sajid Nadiadwala’s mother Shaffat Nadiadwala, who is holding a clapstick in her hands. While Warda and Murugadoss are seen in white ensembles, Shaffat sported a white-and-yellow co-ord set.
Produced by Warda’s husband Sajid Nadiadwala, Sikandar was first announced by Salman on April 11 to mark the festival of Eid.
“Iss Eid ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ aur ‘Maidaan’ ko dekho aur agli Eid Sikandar se aa kar milo…. Wish u all Eid Mubarak (Watch Bade Miyan Chote Miyan and Maidaan this Eid and Sikandar on next Eid, Wish you all Eid Mubarak),” the Bollywood star had written on Instagram, sharing a poster of the film.
Actress Rashmika Mandanna had announced in May that she will be starring opposite Salman Khan in Sikandar.
“You guys have been asking me for the next update for a long time, and here it is. Surprise! I am truly grateful and honored to be a part of #Sikandar,” she wrote on X, resharing a post from makers Nadiadwala Grandsons.
Also featuring Trisha Krishnan and Sonakshi Sinha, Sikandar is slated to release in theatres on Eid 2025.
