Bollywood star Salman Khan on Thursday teased his film Sikandar for Eid 2025 with a poster and asked fans to enjoy this year’s festival by watching Akshay Kumar-Tiger Shroff-starrer Bade Miyan Chote Miyan in theatres.
Wishing his fans on Eid, the 58-year-old actor shared the poster of Sikandar, helmed by AR Murugadoss, displaying the title of the upcoming movie bankrolled by Sajid Nadiadwala, who directed Salman’s 2014 movie Kick.
“Iss Eid ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ aur ‘Maidaan’ ko dekho aur agli Eid Sikandar se aa kar milo…. Wish u all Eid Mubarak (Watch Bade Miyan Chote Miyan and Maidaan this Eid and Sikandar on next Eid, Wish you all Eid Mubarak),” the Tiger 3 actor wrote on Instagram.
Minutes after the release of the poster, fans flooded the comments section expressing their excitement for the film. “Eid Mubarak bhai goosebumps aa gaye. Sikandar,” one of them wrote. “OH MY GOD YOU ARE ALREADY A SIKANDER WHO CONQUERS THE WORLD,” another fan commented.
Earlier this year, Salman had announced that he has teamed up with Murugadoss and Nadiadwala for Sikandar, fuelling speculations that the new movie would be a sequel to Kick.
“Glad to join forces with the exceptionally talented, @ARMurugadoss and my friend, #SajidNadiadwala for a very exciting film,” the Tiger 3 actor had written on X (formerly Twitter) on March 12. “This collaboration is special, and I look forward to this journey with your love and blessings,” he had added.
Salman has collaborated with Nadiadwala on several films in the past, including Mujhse Shaadi Karogi (2004), Judwaa (1997) and Kick (2014). They, however, have not worked together on any films after Kick.
Salman was last seen in Tiger 3 alongside Katrina Kaif. Last year, he had also appeared in the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Pathaan in a cameo role and Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan featuring Pooja Hegde.
Touted as their “most ambitious film till date”, Sikandar is slated to release in theatres on Eid 2025.
