Actor Salman Khan indulges in a banter with nephew Ayaan Agnihotri in the teaser of their upcoming single You Are Mine dropped on Thursday.
Composed by Vishal Mishra, You Are Mine features vocals by Salman and rap by Ayaan alias Agni. The lyrics of the song have been penned by Salman and Sanjeev Chaturvedi. National Award-winning filmmaker Haider Khan has directed the music video.
The teaser, dropped by Salman on Thursday, opens with the actor deep in thought while painting. Agni inquires about his thoughts but Salman’s reply is vague. Agni then urges his uncle to rap with him. “One day,” says Salman. “Do you have anything nice,” asks the actor a little later.
Agni begins rapping, “You plus I...It only takes the two of us to get by.” Salman interrupts midway, repeating, “One day.” As Agni exits, Salman smirks and remarks, “English mai rap karta hai ye chora” (The lad raps in English).
Ahead of the release of the teaser, Salman had shared a poster of the upcoming track on social media on Wednesday. “Teaser Out Tomorrow,” read his caption to the post.
Salman has previously lent his vocals to several Bollywood tracks including Main Hoon Hero Tera from Hero (2015), Hangover and Jumme Ki Raat (Version 2) from Kick (2014) and Jag Ghoomeya (Male Version) from Sultan (2016).
On the work front, Salman is currently shooting for A.R. Murugadoss’ upcoming film Sikandar, slated to hit theatres on Eid 2025. Backed by Sajid Nadiadwala, Sikandar also stars Rashmika Mandanna,Trisha Krishnan and Sonakshi Sinha in key roles.
