Talking about how he is in “close contact” with his fans on social media, Salman said, “I can see the outpouring of love now that Tiger 3 has dropped on OTT,” adding that he is happy to see Tiger 3 receiving love from people around the world.

Salman, who reprises his role as R&AW agent Avinash Singh in Tiger 3, said the film is extremely close to his heart. “So, it felt extremely personal when it became a hit in theatres and now that it is a hit on streaming within days of its drop.”.

The Tiger franchise began with Kabir Khan’s 2012 film Ek Tha Tiger followed by Ali Abbas Zafar’s Tiger Zinda Hai in 2017. Created by Aditya Chopra, the YRF spy universe also includes Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan and Hrithik Roshan’s War.

Also starring Katrina Kaif and Emraan Hashmi, Tiger 3 collected Rs 472 crore worldwide.
