Actor Salman Khan took a trip down memory lane, dropping never-before-seen photos of his father Salim Khan’s first bike, a 1956 Triumph Tiger 100.
“Dad’s 1st bike, Triumph Tiger 100,1956,” wrote Salman on Instagram on Thursday, alongside pictures of himself and his father with the bike.
While the first photo shows Salim sitting on the vintage bike with Salman standing next to him, the second photo captures the Tiger 3 actor assuming the position of the rider. In the pictures, Salman is dressed in a casual grey t-shirt and jeans. Salim, on the other hand, sports a white-and-grey shirt and white trousers.
According to motorcycling enthusiasts, Triumph Tiger 100, a roadster, was manufactured between 1938 and 1959 by the British bike manufacturer.
Singer Harshdeep Kaur and actor Ayushmann Khurrana reacted to Salman's post with heart emojis.
On the work front, Salman Khan’s 1995 film Karan Arjun, co-starring Shah Rukh Khan, is set for a worldwide big screen re-release on November 22. Apart from Salman and Shah Rukh, Karan Arjun also stars Kajol, Mamta Kulkarni, Rakhee and Amrish Puri. The film tells the story of two brothers who reincarnate to avenge their murder by a zamindar.
Salman has A.R. Murugadoss’ upcoming film Sikandar in the pipeline. Sikandar was first announced by Salman on April 11 to mark the festival of Eid. Actress Rashmika Mandanna had announced in May that she will be starring opposite Salman Khan in Sikandar.
“You guys have been asking me for the next update for a long time, and here it is. Surprise! I am truly grateful and honored to be a part of #Sikandar,” she wrote on X, resharing a post from makers Nadiadwala Grandsons.
Also featuring Trisha Krishnan and Sonakshi Sinha, Sikandar is slated to release in theatres on Eid 2025.
