Salman Khan's banter with Vicky’s mother

Salman indulged in a playful banter with Vicky Jain’s mother Rajani Jain during the grand finale. Salman asked her whether she felt disappointed that Ankita made it to the finals instead of Vicky. Salman said that Rajani had become very famous and should participate in the next season of Bigg Boss.

Salman went on to involve Ankita and her mother-in-law in a promise-making session. Ankita pledged to prioritise the well-being of her family, including her mother-in-law, and committed to staying with Vicky for a lifetime. In response, Rajani urged Ankita to promise not to participate in any show that could tarnish the family's reputation. Ankita, visibly upset, defended her association with the entertainment industry. "I am a part of this industry, Mumma. I am proud of it," she said.

Salman takes a swipe at Anurag Dobhal

Salman was quick to notice Anurag Dobhal aka UK Rider’s absence from the finale. The host quipped that Dobhal seemed so disheartened with the show that he had not even attended the concluding episode and must be off somewhere in the mountains, possibly riding his bike in an attempt to distance himself from the show's aftermath.

Ajay Devgn and R. Madhavan in Top 5 eviction

Ajay Devgn and R. Madhavan entered the Bigg Boss house during the grand finale for an eviction task involving the top 5 contestants. Arun Mashetty was the first to be evicted in this task. The actors also promoted their upcoming film Shaitaan on the show. Madhavan requested Mannara Chopra to sing a song from his film Rehna Hai Tere Dil Mein. Mannara obliged and hummed two lines of Zara Zara.

Salman and Madhuri recreate Hum Aapke Hai Kaun scene

Madhuri Dixit Nene, who will be seen as the judge of the new season of dance reality show Dance Deewane, starting February 3 on Colors TV, made an appearance on the grand finale of Bigg Boss 17. She was accompanied by her co-judge Suniel Shetty. Salman welcomed Madhuri and enacted a scene from Hum Aapke Hain Kaun. Suneil and Salman grooved to the song Oh Oh Jaane Jaana. Even Vicky Jain's mother danced to Sheher Ki Ladki.

Salman says he expected Ankita to win

For the eviction of the fourth finalist, mothers of the contestants entered the house. Each housemate had to open an envelope which either read ‘safe’ or ‘evicted’. Ankita was eliminated, leaving the top 3 finalists — Mannara, Munawar and Abhishek — emotional. Salman expressed his shock and disappointment at her eviction, calling her journey one of the toughest. Comparing her to Priyanka Chahar Chowdhury from Bigg Boss 16, Salman said he expected Ankita to win.

Comedian Bharti Singh seized the opportunity to poke fun at Arbaaz. She complained about not receiving an invitation for his second wedding. In response, Arbaaz, showcasing his trademark wit, assured her a spot on the guest list for his next wedding. Bharti then humorously asked Salman about his reaction to Arbaaz's second marriage. Salman, in a playful tone, remarked that Arbaaz is known for not heeding anyone's advice.
