Directed by Rakesh Roshan, Karan Arjun follows the story of two brothers, Karan (Salman) and Arjun (Shah Rukh), who set out to avenge their father’s death only to get killed by their evil uncle. After years of their mother Durga, played by Rakhee Gulzar, praying for their reincarnation, the duo are reborn as strangers unaware of their past. As their destinies unfold, they eventually reunite to exact revenge on the man responsible for their deaths.

Hrithik Roshan took to his Instagram handle and also shared the news of the re-release of his father’s film. “Cinema was never the same again... When Karan Arjun came together on the big screen for the first time ever. Re- live the reincarnation of Karan Arjun in theatres worldwide from 22nd November 2024,” he wrote.

Apart from Salman, Shah Rukh and Rakhee, the film starred Kajol, Mamta Kulkarni, Amrish Puri and Ranjeet in pivotal roles.

With a blend of drama, action and strong family bonds, Karan Arjun became a massive hit. The film’s themes of revenge and redemption, and chart-topping music, including songs like Yeh Bandhan Toh and Jaati Hoon Main, instantly made it emerge as a cult-classic in Indian cinema.
