Salman Khan reunited with his Andaz Apna Apna co-star Aamir Khan on Friday to celebrate Eid together, sparking requests for a sequel of the Rajkumar Santoshi-helmed 1994 cult comedy from fans.
Posting a photo with Aamir on Twitter, the Dabangg actor simply wrote “Chand Mubarak”. Salman was dressed in a black shirt and trousers in the photo, while Aamir sported a blue t-shirt. Aamir’s trademark moustache also stood out in the frame.
Salman was last seen with Aamir when he visited the latter at his residence in January. Aamir's sister Nikhat Hegde had posted photos of the visit on Instagram. In one of those photos, Aamir was seen clicking a picture of Salman as the Tiger actor posed with his family.
Aamir and Salman’s Eid reunion comes in the wake of the theatrical release of Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan. Salman made his big-screen comeback after four long years with this action drama. Directed by Farhad Samji, it also features Pooja Hegde, Venkatesh, Jagapathi Babu, Bhumika Chawla, Vijender Singh, Raghav Juyal, Siddharth Nigam, Jassie Gill, Shehnaaz Gill, Palak Tiwari and Vinali Bhatnagar in key roles.
Aamir was last seen in a cameo appearance in Revathy’s Salaam Venky. His last screen outing as a lead in Advait Chandan-directed Laal Singh Chaddha failed to take the box office by storm.
