Salaam Venky

Zee Music Company has dropped the trailer of Kajol’s upcoming film Salaam Venky, directed by veteran actress Revathy.

Produced by Suuraj Sinngh, the film also stars Rahul Bose, Rajeev Khandelwal, Aahana Kumra and Prakash Raj. Aamir Khan is likely to play a cameo in the film.

The two-minute-17-second-long trailer showcases Kajol as a mother and Vishal Jethwa as her son Venky. Even though Venky’s health is rapidly declining, he, like his mother, is willing to make the most of his life. The trailer is bittersweet, containing both happy and sad moments. Aamir appears at the end of the short trailer.

Salaam Venky will hit the cinemas on December 9.

Khela Jawkhon

SVF dropped the trailer of its upcoming Bengali action thriller film Khela Jawkhon, starring Mimi Chakraborty and Arjun Chakrabarty. Helmed by Arindam Sil, the film also features Susmita Chatterjee, Harsh Chhaya, June Malia, Barun Chanda, Alokananda Roy, Arna Mukhopadhyay, Joydip Kundu, Ashim Roychowdhury and Karan Hariharan in prominent roles.

The almost two-minute-long trailer follows the life of Urmi, played by Mimi, following the death of her son. She notices something fishy in the investigation of her son’s untimely demise. Her husband, played by Arjun, is hiding some important information from her. Urmi stumbles upon shocking evidence as she tries to uncover the truth.

Khela Jawkhon will arrive in theatres on December 2.

Itlu Maredumilli Prajaneekam

The trailer of Telugu star Allari Naresh’s upcoming political thriller Itlu Maredumilli Prajaneekam is out. Written and Directed by A.R. Mohan, and produced by Razesh Danda, the film also features Anandhi, Vennela Kishore, Praveen, Sampath Raj, Raghu Babu and Shritej.

The one-minute-57-second-long trailer takes us to a remote location in Andhra Pradesh during the state election. Naresh plays a government officer who heads to a nondescript village inhabited by Vanavasis to conduct elections.

Itlu Maredumilli Prajaneekam will hit the big screens on November 25.

Louis

Magic Frames have unveiled the trailer of their upcoming Malayalam psychological thriller Louis. Produced by Titty Abraham under the banner of Kotupalli Movies Productions, the film is helmed by Shabu Usman and the screenplay and dialogue are penned by Manu Gopal. The film features an ensemble cast of Indrans, Manoj K. Jayan, Saikumar, Joy Mathew, Kalabhavan Nawaz, Adinath Shashi, Ashokan, Ajithkoothattukulam and Rajesh Paravoor.

In the two-minute-10-second-long trailer, we see a girl in distress. There are also several dark incidents of car accidents and deaths in the short clip. Indrans plays a mysterious man on a mission to avenge wrongdoing. The trailer tactfully manages to hide the plot of the film.

Louis will hit the cinemas on November 25.

Warriors of Future

Netflix has dropped the trailer of Hong Kong’s sci-fi action film Warriors of Future, the highest-grossing film from the country. The film is directed by visual effects artist Ng Yuen-fai and stars Louis Koo, Sean Lau, and Carina Lau.

The one-minute-55-second-long trailer introduces us to a future world of 2055, where technological advancement has transformed everything, including warfare. The trailer has glimpses of breathtaking action sequences and visuals. The synopsis reads, “When a meteor carrying a destructive plant strikes the world, a suicide squad is given hours to save their post-apocalyptic city from total collapse.”

Warriors of Future will be streaming on Netflix from December 2.
