Actor Ryan Reynolds has dropped a set of behind-the-scenes photos of him hugging his Deadpool & Wolverine co-star Hugh Jackman and director Shawn Levy on the first day and the last day of shoot, with an additional picture of their recent moment at the ongoing San Diego Comic-Con.
“What a team. Unforgettable and impossible to top,” Reynolds wrote alongside the photos on Instagram.
The first image in the carousel is from the first day of shooting Deadpool & Wolverine, followed by one from the last day of shooting. The third picture is from SDCC.
Deadpool & Wolverine hit theatres on Friday. According to industry data-tracking portal Sacnilk, the superhero movie minted Rs 21.5 crore nett in India on Day 1. This makes Deadpool & Wolverine the biggest Hollywood opener of 2024, and the fourth-biggest Hollywood opener in India post pandemic.
Deadpool & Wolverine has also emerged as the sixth biggest Hollywood opener of all time in India. The top five grossers include Avengers: Endgame (Rs 53 crore nett), Avatar: The Way of Water (Rs 40 crore nett), Spider-Man: No Way Home (Rs 32.67 crore nett), Avengers: Infinity War (Rs 31.30 crore nett) and Doctor Strange: Multiverse of Madness (Rs 28.35 crore nett).
