Ryan Gosling and Emily Blunt-led action comedy The Fall Guy is slated to hit JioCinema on September 3, the streaming platform announced on X on Monday, sharing a trailer of the film.
“A stunt double is here to double the heroism. The Fall Guy, streaming September 3 onwards, exclusively on JioCinema Premium. Available in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Bengali and Marathi,” wrote the streamer on social media.
Directed by former stuntman David Leitch and written by Drew Pearce, The Fall Guy is loosely based on the eponymous television series that aired on ABC from 1981 to 1986.
The narrative follows stuntman Colt Seavers (Gosling), who becomes entangled in a conspiracy involving his ex-girlfriend Jody Moreno’s (Blunt) directorial debut action film.
The film also features Aaron Taylor-Johnson, Hannah Waddingham, Teresa Palmer, Stephanie Hsu and Winston Duke in key roles.
Released theatrically on May 3, The Fall Guy earned Rs 550 crore worldwide, according to industry data-tracking site Sacnilk.
The Fall Guy will be available for streaming on JioCinema in English, Hindi, Tamil, Telugu, Kannada, Bengali and Marathi Languages.
On the work front, Gosling is set to star in a sci-fi adaptation of Andy Weir's novel Project Hail Mary. The film will be directed by Phil Lord and Christopher Miller. The actor will also play the lead in Derek Cianfrance’s horror film Wolfman.
Blunt will next be seen in the sports film The Smashing Machine starring Dwayne Johnson as wrestler Mark Kerr.
