The video opened with an aerial view of Tesla cars in a parking lot. The cars parked in the shape of RRR were seen during daytime as people gathered around the vehicles. The clip then showed the light show with the cars' headlights blinking to the beats of Naatu Naatu.

Earlier on Monday, RRR’s official Twitter handle shared a video of the Tesla light show, which had been organised to pay a tribute to Naatu Naatu’s Oscar win. “@Teslalightshows light sync with the beats of #Oscar Winning Song #NaatuNaatu in New Jersey 🤩😍 Thanks for all the love. #RRRMovie @Tesla @elonmusk,” the caption said.

The video grabbed the attention of Tesla CEO Elon Musk, who reacted to the tweet.

Naatu Naatu became the first song from an Indian production to win the Oscar for Best Original Song at the 95th Academy Awards in Los Angeles. The award was handed out to lyricist Chandrabose and music composer MM Keeravaani. SS Rajamouli along with RRR’s lead actors Ram Charan and Jr NTR attended the star-studded ceremony at Dolby Theatres on March 13.

The Telugu-language song was performed by the singers Kaala Bhairava and Rahul Sipligunj at the Oscars along with a group of dancers. The performance was introduced by Bollywood actress Deepika Padukone.
