Filmmaker Rosshan Andrrews dropped behind-the-scenes pictures of Shahid Kapoor from Deva sets to mark the actor’s 43rth birthday recently.

“Many many happy returns of the day to my dearest loving Brother Shahid kapoor. Thank you for all the conversations … laughs … fun …you are one of the finest actor I have ever worked with and it’s an honour to direct you as my DeVa ! With lots of love and respect I am Wishing you a great year,” Rosshan wrote alongside 10 photos of him and Shahid from the film’s set on Monday.

Deva, an action thriller, is set to be the first collaboration between Shahid and Rosshan, who is noted for Malayalam blockbusters like Salute and Kayamkulam Kochunni. Rosshan shared some intense snippets from the sets which offer a sneak peek of the intensity that the film will embody.

The two also had some light bonding moments on the set and shared hearty laughter.

Responding to the warm wishes by Rosshan, Shahid wrote in the comments, “Brother it’s been such a blast I can’t wait to get back on set with you thank you for your kind words DEVA is waiting ..”

Co-starring Pooja Hegde and produced by Zee Studios & Roy Kapur Films, Deva is set to release around Dussehra on October 11.
