In the first picture, a beard-sporting Kinnear can be seen wearing a hat with a long feather, blue jacket and bright yellow boots, as described in The Lord of the Rings books. He wears a soot-covered tunic and ruminates while standing in front of barren hills in the second picture.

The third and fourth pictures feature Rory’s Bombadil in conversation with Daniel Weyman’s Stranger.

Tom Bombadil appears in the The Fellowship of the Ring, the first instalment of J.R.R Tolkien’s novel series. He is shown rescuing the hobbits from Old Man Willow in the Old Forest and later providing them with hospitality at his home with his wife, Goldberry. He entertains them with stories and songs and shows a deep connection to nature.

The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power is set in the Second Age of Middle-earth, long before the events of Tolkien's The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings. Created by J. D. Payne and Patrick McKay, the series explores the creation of the Rings of Power, the rise of the Dark Lord Sauron, the epic tale of Númenor, and the last alliance between Elves and Men.
