Rohit Shetty’s OTT debut Indian Police Force, starring Sidharth Malhotra, Shilpa Shetty Kundra and Vivek Oberoi, is among the ten most trending shows on Amazon Prime Video in eight countries including the US, the UK and Canada, the streaming platform announced on Sunday.
According to a social media post by Amazon Prime Video, the cop-thriller series is also among the top ten shows in Australia, New Zealand, India, Singapore and the UAE.
“The world is feeling the FORCE...thanks for taking Indian Police Force to the (top emoji),” the streaming platform wrote on Instagram alongside a motion poster of the action-packed series.
Indian Police Force premiered on Amazon Prime Video on January 19. The high-octane actioner is billed as a tribute to the unwavering commitment of Indian police officers.
Complete with Shetty’s penchant for flying cars, earth-shattering explosions and catchy background scores, the police procedural series also features Nikitin Dheer, Isha Talwar, Shweta Tiwari and Sharad Kelkar in key roles.
Produced by Shetty under the banner of Rohit Shetty Picturez and Reliance Entertainment, the series is co-directed by Sushwanth Prakash.
Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again, the third instalment of the super-hit franchise, is likely to hit theatres on Independnce Day this year. The film boasts an ensemble cast that includes Ajay Devgn, Deepika Padukone, Kareena Kapoor Khan, Akshay Kumar, Tiger Shroff and Ranveer Singh.
