Actor Rohit Saraf dropped a never-before-seen picture with his Mismatched co-star Prajakta Koli alongside a note to wish the latter on her 31st birthday on June 27.

“Happy Birthday @mostlysane. I think about your journey thus far and it feels too good to be true always so proud of you! Go win the world while I sit here and cheer you on,” read Rohit’s caption.

The picture is a candid shot of the duo gazing into each other’s eyes.

Rohit announced in April that they have wrapped up shooting for the third season of their Netflix series.

“This is us. Until next time.. #MismatchedS03 ♥️Season Wrap,” the 27-year-old actor wrote on Instagram alongside a set of pictures with Prajakta.

Helmed by Akarsh Khurana and Nipun Dharmadhikari, the coming-of-age romantic drama is based on Sandhya Menon’s 2017 novel When Dimple Met Rishi. It features Rohit as Rishi Singh Shekhawat and Prajakta as Dimple Ahuja.

Prajakta and Rohit’s crackling chemistry in the Mismatched Season 3 teaser, dropped by the makers earlier this year, is palpable. The video delves deep into the nuances of lost love and recovered friendships.

The first season of Mismatched follows the story of Rishi Singh Shekhawat, who falls in love with tech wizard Dimple Ahuja. The season ended with Dimple blaming her boyfriend Rishi for leaking information about the mobile app she was working on.

Rohit recently starred in the romcom Ishq Vishk Rebound. Directed by Nipun Avinash Dharmadhikari, the movie also stars Jibraan Khan, Naila Grewal, and Hrithik Roshan’s cousin Pashmina Roshan. Ishq Vishk Rebound released theatrically on June 21.

Prajakta, on the other hand, was last seen in Anu Menon’s Neeyat (2023), a mystery film headlined by Vidya Balan.
