Bollywood stars Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt shared a series of BTS pictures and videos from the set of their 2023 romcom Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani to mark the film’s first anniversary on July 28.
Besides the lead pair, the photos and videos show veteran actress Jaya Bachchan and director Karan Johar on the shooting floor.
Expressing his gratitude to the audience for their love and support, Ranveer wrote “Anniversary toh spashiyal day hota hai! Aap sab ne hamari film ko itna pyar diya.. by God i am just so heppi, soooo heppi!!! Bade-wale thanks aur Rocky-wali jhappi Love hai toh sab hai (An anniversary is a special day. I am so happy that you all have given so much love to our film. A big hug from my side. If there is love, there is everything).”
The carousel features a picture, clicked by Alia, of Ranveer and Karan. In another picture, Ranveer flaunts his biceps and his chiselled body. The series also includes Ranveer’s mirror selfie in a quirky outfit. Additionally, the actor has shared candid videos with Karan and Jaya. He is seen sporting a funny hairstyle in the final picture of the carousel.
Alia also shared a montage that shows her getting ready for the shoot, reviewing the script with Karan and Ranveer, filming a dance sequence and flaunting her iconic sari look from the film. The 31-year-old actress also shared a group picture with the crew.

Jaya essayed the role of Rocky’s grandmother Dhanlakshmi Randhawa in the film. The ensemble cast also included Dharmendra, Shabana Azmi, Tota Roy Chowdhury, Churni Ganguly, Aamir Bashir and Kshitee Jog.
Released theatrically on July 28, 2023, the film earned over Rs 355 crore worldwide, emerging as the 10th highest-grossing Indian film of last year.
On the work front, Alia will next be seen in Vasan Bala’s upcoming thriller Jigra and YRF Spy Universe’s first female-led film Alpha.
Ranveer has Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again in the pipeline. Additionally, the actor has teamed up with R. Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna and Arjun Rampal for a new film helmed by Aditya Dhar.
