The skirt is having a moment in men’s fashion in Hollywood. After Brad Pitt, it’s Robert Pattinson who turned up in a skirt, delivering a jaw-dropping style moment.
The Twilight star, who has been a decade-long ambassador for Dior fragrance, wore a shimmery Dior tweed skirt with a chocolate brown fleece jacket and knee-high boots at the Dior Homme Fall/Winter 2023 show at Paris Fashion Week this weekend.
Pattinson isn’t the first male celebrity to don a skirt or feminine clothing on the red carpet. Harry Styles and Timothee Chalamet are known for their gender non-confirming style. Brad Pitt, Oscar Isaac and Pete Davidson have also opted for skirts on the red carpet. Apart from Pattinson, the Dior Homme Fall/Winter 2023 show also saw BTS member J-Hope flaunt a grey half-skirt and pant look.
Last February, Pattinson had sent a shocker with a punk look — wearing silver teeth on a bloody face and an outfit with spikes all over — for a GQ cover.
Not just his style statement, the 36-year-old actor has also been on a roll in the acting department as well, wowing with one noteworthy performance after another. After The Devil All The Time, Tenet and The Batman, we will next see Pattinson in Bong Joon-ho’s Mickey 17 alongside Naomi Ackie, Steven Yeun, Toni Collette, Mark Ruffalo and Holliday Grainger.
