Bengali film actress Ritabhari Chakraborty penned Shah Rukh Khan’s dialogues for the latest promo of his recently released actioner Jawan, the Tollywood star has revealed in an emotional post on Instagram.
“The Man himself gives a brief and we work out a poem in less than an hour to only hear him recite with his charismatic voice on the phone has to be one of the most magical moments of my life,” Ritabhari wrote in her post alongside the promo that has Shah Rukh’s voiceover saying the dialogue “Main tumhara baap hoon”, which was not a part of the film but recorded exclusively for the promo.
"I am grateful to have brainstormed and written these lines for this promo for none other than @iamsrk with my partner in everything good, bad, creative @sumitaroraa (He wrote the dialogues of Jawan and has killed it and how)! I have seen Sumit grind, put his heart, soul, and everything for the Hero we all love for the two years span it took to make this magnum opus. I have seen him become Srk Sir’s 'Family Man.' So proud of you Aroraa," Ritabhari continued.
The actress recalled how her creative collaboration with Jawan’s dialogue writer Sumit Aroraa played a pivotal role in the promotional journey of Jawan. It all began when Sumit received an unexpected call from none other than Shah Rukh himself, requesting him to craft a captivating promo for the movie.
"Thank you Sumit for letting me be a wave in the ocean of your amazing words and work for Jawan! FYI @iamsrk thinks Ritabhari is a wayyyy better name for a writer than Sumit. Sabka baap ne bol dia," the Ogo Bodhu Sundori actress wrote.
Shah Rukh Khan dropped the new 30-second-long promo of Jawan on Wednesday, leaving his fans enthralled.
