Global pop icon Rihanna recently turned heads in a Manish Malhotra ruby choker, show pictures shared by the Indian celebrity designer on social media.

“The global icon Rihanna (@badgalriri) stuns in our Ruby Choker, crafted in 18k gold and custom-cut rubies encrusted in diamonds, exuding Indian craftsmanship and artistry,” wrote the 57-year-old couturier alongside pictures of Rihanna looking gorgeous in a maroon ensemble.

Rihanna paired the custom choker with a ruby necklace. The Diamonds singer opted for cropped hair, stone studs and dewy makeup to complete her look.

Manish is also currently working on his third production venture Ul Jalool Ishq starring Naseeruddin Shah, Vijay Varma, Fatima Sana Shaikh and Sharib Hashmi. Penned and helmed by Vibhu Puri Dehalvi, the film began production on January 9.

Rihanna, on the other hand, is gearing up for her ninth studio album. The nine-time Grammy-winning singer had brought the house down with her electrifying performance during Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant’s pre-wedding celebrations in Gujarat’s Jamnagar in March. Bollywood celebrities, including Janhvi Kapoor and Shanaya Kapoor, shared videos and pictures with Rihanna from the bash. Rihanna had reportedly charged a whopping Rs 52 crore for her performance at the event.
