Actress Richa Chadha was actively promoting Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s maiden OTT series Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazar while she was seven months pregnant, she said in a social media post recently.
“Exactly a month ago, we had a meet and greet with the media, to celebrate the success of #heeramandionnetflix ! Was fun to meet all the co-stars but the chief guest was of course, the Sanjay Leela Bhansali🩷 who was indeed a sighting as rare as a tiger in Ranthambore,” the Fukrey actress wrote alongside a series of previously unseen photos.
“There’s a special story about this day, for which I am grateful to my teamand I will make a reel about it tomorrow Still can’t believe I was out promoting in full bloom when in the 7th month haha,” she added.
Richa and her husband, Ali Fazal, revealed their pregnancy in February 2024, with the baby expected in July. Heeramandi: The Diamond Bazaar debuted on Netflix on May 1. Despite her brief appearance in the eight-part series, Richa Chadha's performance has been highly praised.
