Retribution
Lionsgate Movies dropped the official trailer of its action thriller film Retribution on Wednesday late evening. Directed by Nimród Antal from a screenplay by Chris Salmanpour, the movie stars Liam Neeson alongside Noma Dumezweni, Lilly Aspell, Jack Champion, Embeth Davidtz and Matthew Modine.
The two-minute-two-second-long trailer begins with financier Matt Turner (Neeson) driving his kids to school. He suddenly receives a phone call from a stranger who tells him that there is a bomb hidden below his seat and he must fulfil some tasks or risk being blown into smithereens. As the clock keeps ticking, a normal commute becomes a twisted game of life or death.
Retribution will hit the cinemas on August 25.
Bird Box Barcelona
Netflix shared the teaser of its upcoming Spanish film Bird Box Barcelona on Wednesday. A spin-off to Sandra Bullock’s 2018 film Bird Box, the post-apocalyptic monster movie stars Mario Casas, Alejandra Howard, Georgina Campbell, Diego Calva, Naila Schuberth and Lola Dueñas.
The one-minute-35-second-long teaser shows the Catalan city being plagued by a series of eerie incidents. An unknown entity is taking control of those who are having eye contact with it. The video then introduces us to the three main characters, including a child, who try to fight their way out of the situation.
Bird Box Barcelona will arrive on Netflix on July 14.
The Passenger
The trailer of the upcoming American thriller film The Passenger came out on Thursday via Paramount Movies. Directed by Carter Smith and written by Jack Stanley, the movie stars Kyle Gallner and Johnny Berchtold in lead roles.
The two-minute-28-second-long trailer shows Randy (Johnny Berchtold) as a man short on confidence and working at a restaurant. However, when his coworker Benson (Kyle Gallner) goes on a sudden and violent rampage, Randy has to face his fears and confront his troubled past to survive.
The Passenger will be streaming on Paramount+ from August 4.
College Romance Season 4
The official trailer of the fourth and final season of College Romance was released by SonyLiv on Thursday. Created by The Viral Fever (TVF) and produced by Arunabh Kumar, the latest season of the show is directed by Ashutosh Pankaj and features Gagan Arora, Apoorva Arora, Keshav Sadhna and Shreya Mehta.
The two-minute-26-second-long trailer shows the gang in their final year of college. They encounter problems in their personal lives as they focus on their individual plans for life outside campus. Things become a bit intense after the arrival of their estranged friend Trippy on the day of their farewell.
