I read the book and I really loved the series. Jack Reacher is a superhuman being with a super-confident attitude and brilliant mind. After reading the book and watching the movie, I felt that no other hero but Tom Cruise could bring out his character so well. Despite being physically smaller as compared to Reacher, he delivered a masterpiece with dynamic acting and super action sequences. This is everything I hoped it would be. I have read all the books of the Jack Reacher series and they did a great job with the show. (I am a Jack Reacher fan because... December 13)

I am a Jack Reacher fan because his action-studded films drive me crazy. I have seen all of his movies and I highly appreciate his ingenious quality and fights. This agent is full of ideas. He captures us with his wonderful charm. A high-jumping actor with punching tricks well learnt and used. The storyline is very absorbing and the suspense makes my fingernails shorter. Edge-of-the-seat entertainment with fun and thrills.

From ruling the pages of a novel to the big screen, Lee Child's Jack Reacher has emerged as one of the most popular characters in the crime thriller genre. Hailing from an army family, Jack has spent the majority of his life around defence bases in the US, developing his combat and shooting skills. Apart from serving as a major in the US Army, he has also worked as a gifted investigator, solving convoluted and dangerous cases. Out of all his qualities, I strongly admire his ability to extract significant information through simple conversations and minute observations of his surroundings. His journey from being a young American boy to a committed soldier provides him with ample experience to conquer every mission successfully. His crunchy elbow strikes and kicks never fail to arouse an adrenaline rush within me. A one-man army capabl of capturing his enemies at the snap of his finger!

I like Jack Reacher because its character is based on the books by Lee Child and has achieved the near-impossible feat of being faithful to the original. In this thriller series, the protagonist Jack Reacher, played by Alan Ritchson, is a retired army man, who is invisible. Difficult to trace, he travels all the time, uses aliases, has no permanent abode and is a badass soldier. He also speaks less, the economy of words adding to the air of mystery around the man. He is wrongly accused of a crime and that is when all hell breaks loose. Surprising revelations, fratricide and several twists later, Reacher avenges his brother's killer and order is restored in Lee Child's world and ours.
Gore aside, it is a taut story, keeping you hooked till the last season, not unlike the books themselves. It is highly recommended to both read and watch the series.

Jack Reacher, the ex-military police investigator, hatched by the British writer Lee Child, is on one hand super smart, on the other super strong. Undoubtedly, Reacher is one of the best fictional investigators of all time. His intelligent mind and his expertise in street fighting are the two main weapons that he uses to right wrongs. This has made me a big fan of the popular action hero. Plus, Reacher's wandering lifestyle, introverted nature and his generosity attract me hugely too.
