The third season of Alan Ritchson’s action-thriller series Reacher is set to stream on Amazon Prime Video in 2025, the streaming announced on Tuesday.
“The biggest name in action hits again in 2025,” Prime Video wrote alongside the show's title on Instagram.
Created by Nick Santora, Reacher is based on the Jack Reacher novels by Lee Child. The show follows a former army man who is not only immensely strong and smart but also travels from town to town solving crimes and confronting adversaries.
The third season will adapt Child's seventh novel, Persuader (2003), in which Reacher goes undercover to rescue an informant from a dangerous enemy from his past.
Joining Ritchson this season are Anthony Michael Hall and Sonya Cassidy. Hall portrays Zachary Beck, a powerful and successful businessman, a widower, and a single father to a 20-year-old son Richard. Beck owns a rug import company that Reacher suspects is a front for illicit activities. Cassidy plays Susan Duffy, a sharp and tough DEA agent from Boston with a witty and sarcastic demeanor.
Additionally, Brian Tee has been cast as Quinn, a menacing former Lieutenant Colonel in the army who was previously investigated by Reacher for selling military secrets. Johnny Berchtold joins as Richard Beck, Zachary's sensitive and artistic son, who was kidnapped and mutilated five years ago.
