Canadian singer-songwriter Bryan Adams performed in Mumbai on December 13 after captivating audiences in Kolkata, Shillong and Gurugram during his So Happy It Hurts Tour 2024. Raveena Tandon, Arbaaz Khan, Mira Rajput Kapoor and Diana Penty were among the celebrities who attended the concert at Nesco Centre in Mumbai's Goregaon.
Actress Raveena Tandon danced her heart out at the concert with her friends. She looked gorgeous in a black t-shirt paired with silver hoops. Sharing photos and videos from the show, Raveena mentioned how she could never attend concerts during her college days because of “insane erratic working hours on shoots”. “A night at concert with #bryanadams. And how I love my Mumbaikars, went down to enjoy the real feel of being in the midst, only to hear a welcoming ankhiyon se goli maare! Hahahha . Love you my mumbai folks. Having missed concerts that I always wanted to go to in all my days of college as I was already working insane erratic hours on my shoots. Now Making up for lost years,” the actress wrote.
As per media reports, Adams kickstarted his Mumbai concert with his 1984 chartbuster Somebody. The 65-year-old artiste also performed other mega hits, including 18 til I Die, Please Forgive Me, Summer of 69, Shine A Light, Let’s Make a Night to Remember and Here I Am at the show.
Actor-producer Arbaaz Khan shared a selfie from the concert with wife Sshura Khan. The couple tied the knot in Mumbai in December last year.
One of the key highlights of Adams’ show in Mumbai was his tribute to his late friend, singer Tina Turner, ahead of his rendition of their 1984 duet It’s Only Love.
Actor Shahid Kapoor’s wife, Mira Rajput Kapoor, also shared pictures from the show. In her caption, Mira revealed that she attended the concert in the same t-shirt she had worn to Adams’ 2023 concert in Singapore. “Young and wild and free. Find a bigger fan of @bryanadams than me. Wearing my t-shirt from his concert in Singapore, March 2023,” reads her caption on Instagram.
Actress Diana Penty took to Instagram to share glimpses of the spectacular show. “Millennials came out in full force last night for the one and only @bryanadams. The OG. It was indeed a night to remember #SoHappyItHurts,” she captioned her post on Instagram.
Actor Aamir Ali, composer Manmeet Singh and comedian Kumar Varun were also reportedly present at the show.
Bryan Adams is set to perform in Bengaluru’s Terraform Arena on December 14. The musician will also perform in Hyderabad on December 16 and in Goa on December 17.
