Actress Rashmika Mandanna is set to star opposite Salman Khan in Sikandar, she announced on X (formerly Twitter) on Thursday, resharing a post from makers Nadiadwala Grandsons.
“You guys have been asking me for the next update for a long time, and here it is. Surprise! I am truly grateful and honored to be a part of #Sikandar,” she wrote on X.

Also starring Trisha Krishnan and Sonakshi Sinha, Sikandar is helmed by A.R. Murugadoss, known for films like Ghajini (2008), Jai Ho (2014) and Sarkar (2018).
Sikandar was first announced by Salman on April 11 to mark the festival of Eid.
“Iss Eid ‘Bade Miyan Chote Miyan’ aur ‘Maidaan’ ko dekho aur agli Eid Sikandar se aa kar milo…. Wish u all Eid Mubarak (Watch Bade Miyan Chote Miyan and Maidaan this Eid and Sikandar on next Eid, Wish you all Eid Mubarak),” the Tiger 3 star wrote on Instagram, unveiling a poster of the film.
Sikandar is bankrolled by Sajid Nadiadwala, who directed Salman’s 2014 movie Kick. Touted as their “most ambitious film till date”, Sikandar is slated to release in theatres on Eid 2025.
Rashmika was last seen in Sandeep Reddy Vanga’s Animal opposite Ranbir Kapoor. The 28-year-old actress is set to reprise her role as Srivalli in the sequel Pushpa 2: The Rule, starring Allu Arjun in the titular role.
Rashmika will also star alongside Dhanush in Sekhar Kammula's Tamil-Telugu bilingual film Kubera and headline female-led films Rainbow and The Girlfriend.
Additionally, the actress will essay the role of Yesubai Bhonsale in the Hindi historical drama Chaava opposite Vicky Kaushal's Sambhaji.
Salman, on the other hand, was last seen in Tiger 3 alongside Katrina Kaif. Last year, he had also appeared in the Shah Rukh Khan-starrer Pathaan in a cameo role and in Kisi Ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan featuring Pooja Hegde.
