Actress Rashmika Mandanna sports a red-and-white chequered sari and smiles wistfully in the first-look poster of her character from the upcoming Ranbir Kapoor-starrer Animal, dropped by the makers on Saturday.
Sharing the poster on Instagram, the 27-year-old introduced herself as Geetanjali from the Sandeep Reddy Vanga-directed action drama, also starring Anil Kapoor in an important role.
“Your Geetanjali ❤️,” she wrote in the caption. The Pushpa actress has a minimal makeup look and her hair is tied up messily in the character poster.
On Thursday, Anil Kapoor dropped his first look as Balbir Singh from the film. “Animal Ka Baap…Balbir Singh!,” his caption read. The 66-year-old wears a blue suit and a bandage on the left side of his chest as he stares at the camera.
Sandeep, known for his 2019 film Kabir Singh, took to X (formerly Twitter) on Monday to share a character poster of Ranbir Kapoor. The 40-year-old actor holds a lit cigarette in his mouth and dons a blue suit, black shirt and sunglasses in the poster.
Animal revolves around a troubled father-son relationship between Anil Kapoor and Ranbir Kapoor’s characters in the backdrop of a vicious underworld.
Co-produced by T-Series and Cine1 Studios, Animal was previously slated to release in theatres in September. But to avoid a clash with the release of Jawan, its premiere was rescheduled. The film, which also stars Bobby Deol and Tripti Dimri, is now set to hit theatres on December 1.
