Pushpa actress Rashmika Mandanna’s first Bollywood dance track, The Hic Song, from her upcoming Hindi film, Goodbye, dropped on YouTube today. Directed by Vikas Bahl, Goodbye stars Amitabh Bachchan.
Needless to say, it’s a happy moment for Rashimka, who’s Srivalli became a household name after the release of the Telugu action film Pushpa: The Rise last year.
The Hic Song shows Rashmika’s character letting her hair down with her friends at a nightclub.
While Goodbye’s new song is sung by Sharvi Yadav and penned by Vikas & AT, it is choreographed by Vijay Ganguly.
This is the second song after Jaikal mahakal, which is quite a soothing track, agan on Amit Trivedi’s composition. “The Hic Song is so different from the songs I have done before and it is my first party dance song ever. I thoroughly enjoyed shooting for it,” said Rashmika in a statement released today by the film’s makers.
The trailer of Goodbye had piqued a lot of interest and excitement amongst fans.
Produced by Ektaa R Kapoor’s Balaji Motion Pictures in association with Good Co., Goodbye is set for worldwide release in cinemas on October 7.
