A video of actor Ranveer Singh imitating internet personality Orhan Awatramani, also known as Orry, has elicited a response from actress Deepika Padukone.

“How to be Orry, step 1,” wrote Orry on Sunday, sharing the video on Instagram.

The video starts with Ranveer sitting on a couch in a black sherwani. He then rises to mimic Orry, with others in the room acting as paparazzi. Ranveer imitates Orry's signature sideways wave.

“We ♥️ You! @orry,” reads Deepika’s comment on the post.

Orry first gained public attention for his frequent appearances with Bollywood celebrities such as Karan Johar, Janhvi Kapoor, Ananya Panday and Nysa Devgn at various parties. His mysterious profession has often been a topic of speculation.

“I live therefore I am a liver.” Orry said on Koffee With Karan Season 8 last year. The comment instantly became the inspiration behind a lot of memes on the internet.

Earlier this year, Orry joined Karan Johar’s celebrity management venture Dharma Cornerstone Agency.

Work wise, Ranveer has Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again in the pipeline. Slated to hit theatres on November 1, the film will also feature Deepika.

Additionally, Ranveer has teamed up with R. Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna and Arjun Rampal for a new film helmed by Aditya Dhar.

Deepika, on the other hand, will also appear in Farhan Akhtar’s Don 3.
