Actor Ranveer Singh is all set to share the basketball court with Marvel star Simu Liu, Grammy-winner 21 Savage and comedian Hasan Minhaj at the NBA All-Star Celebrity Game 2023. The Cirkus actor is currently in Salt Lake City, Utah to prepare for the match.
The brand ambassador for NBA India since 2021, Ranveer will be playing for former Miami Heat player Dwyane Wade’s team. Earlier, he had also participated in the 2022 Celebrity Game and played alongside Machine Gun Kelly and rapper Quavo.
This year the Bollywood actor will be joined by the likes of Latin global music icon and actor Nicky Jam, five-time American Music Award winner Kane Brown, Grammy Award-winning recording artist and actress Janelle Monáe, Grammy Award-nominated recording artist Cordae, and actors Sinqua Walls and Everett Osborne.
Reggaeton artist Ozuna, Seattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf, pro football hall of famer Calvin Johnson, 11-time MLB All-Star Albert Pujols and ABC’s Jimmy Kimmel Live correspondent Guillermo Rodriguez will also be part of this year’s NBA All-Star roster.
The 2023 NBA All-Star Celebrity Game will be played at Vivint Arena on February 19 on the 30th anniversary of the first All-Star match held in Salt Lake City.
