Actor Ranveer Singh will team up with R. Madhavan, Sanjay Dutt, Akshaye Khanna and Arjun Rampal for a new film helmed by Aditya Dhar, Jio Studios announced on Saturday.
“This is what movie dreams are made of! Helmed by#RanveerSingh, directed by #AdityaDhar, this much-anticipated collaboration between #JioStudios and #B62Studios is all set to dazzle you with a stellar cast like never before,” Jio Studios wrote on Instagram alongside a collage of the actors’ pictures.
Produced by Lokesh Dhar, the film is a collaboration between Jio Studios and B62 Studios. Details about its title, plot, production and release date are yet to be announced.
Fans flooded the comments section to express their excitement at the news. “It’s personal for us as well,” wrote one of them. “The BIGGEST & The BEST news of the day!!! Excited for this one,” another commented.
Soon after the announcement, Ranveer took to his Instagram handle to thank his fans for their constant support. “This one is for my fans, who have been so patient with me, and been clamouring for a turn like this. I love you all, and I promise you, this time, a cinematic experience like never before,” he wrote.
“With your blessings, we embark on this great, big motion picture adventure with spirited energy and pure intent. This time, it’s personal,” the actor added.
Ranveer was last seen in Karan Johar’s 2023 film Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani alongside Alia Bhatt. He will be next seen in Rohit Shetty’s Singham Again, a sequel to the 2014 film Singham Returns.
Madhavan, on the other hand, last starred in Shaitaan alongside Ajay Devgn and Jyotika. He has the films Amriki Pandit, Adhirshtasaali, Test and Shankara in the pipeline.
While Sanjay Dutt’s romantic drama Ghudchadi with Raveena Tandon is slated to hit JioCinema on August 9, Arjun Rampal will next feature as a warrior in the Hindi period drama The Battle of Bhima Koregaon. In 2022, Akshaye Khanna appeared in two films — Love You Hamesha and Drishyam 2.
