Since then the actor has starred in at least 20 Hindi films including three directed by iconic filmmaker Sanjay Leela Bhansali — the tragic romance Goliyon Ki Raasleela Ram-Leela and the historical romantic dramas Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat.

The actor also appeared in Aditya Chopra’s Paris-set romance Befikre, Rohit Shetty’s cop comedy Simmba and Zoya Akhtar’s coming-of-age tale Gully Boy, in which he plays a street-rapper.

More recently, Ranveer won critical acclaim for his portrayal of Indian cricket legend Kapil Dev in Kabir Khan’s sports biopic 83. He will next be seen in director Karan Johar’s romantic comedy Rocky Aur Rani Ki Prem Kahani opposite Alia Bhatt.

The actor has also been named brand ambassador for several international organisations. He has partnered with numerous international brands and organisations including the NBA, Premier League, Adidas and PepsiCo.

Ranveer was recently in New York City for his partnership with Tiffany & Co. He, alongside Florence Pugh and Jimin of BTS, relaunched the iconic luxury brand’s flagship store.

As an entrepreneur, Ranveer has invested in upstart cosmetics label Sugar Cosmetics and established his own record label, IncInk, to highlight Indian emcees and rappers.

According to the Deadline article, the actor will continue to be represented by India’s Collective Artists Network.
