Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani (RRKPK), featuring Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt in lead roles, picked up slightly from Monday’s Rs 7.02 crore nett to Rs 7.6 crore nett on Tuesday at the domestic box office, according to Box Office India.
The total earning of the Karan Johar directorial now stands at Rs 60.52 crore nett. After opening with Rs 11.10 crore nett on July 28, the film went on to rake in Rs 34.8 crore over its first weekend.
The romantic drama is also doing well around the globe with a worldwide gross collection of Rs 115 crore so far. On Tuesday, Dharma Productions took to Instagram to announce that Rocky Aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani has joined the Rs 100-crore club in gross worldwide collections. “Only prem from all sides as inki prem kahaani ho rahi hai famous WORLDWIDE!💜 100 CRORE at the global box office - sacch mein, 'love hai toh sab hai!' #RockyAurRaniKiiPremKahaani, in cinemas near you. Book your tickets now!” it wrote along with a poster of the film.
In a separate post on Instagram, Karan released the song Heart Throb from the film on Tuesday. The peppy dance number features cameos by Varun Dhawan, Janhvi Kapoor, Sara Ali Khan, and Ananya Panday.
