Ranveer Singh and Alia Bhatt-starrer Rocky aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani minted Rs 53.25 crore nett after four days with its Monday collection of Rs 7.35 crore nett, according to Box Office India reports.
After earning Rs 11.1 crore nett in India on its opening day on July 28, the Karan Johar directorial went on to rake in Rs 16.05 crore nett on Saturday and Rs 18.75 crore nett on Sunday to take its weekend collection to Rs 34.82 crore nett.
Rocky aur Rani Kii Prem Kahaani has emerged as the ninth Hindi movie to reach the Rs 50-crore mark at the box office in 2023. Shah Rukh Khan’s Pathaan and Prabhas-starrer Adipurush achieved this feat on the opening day itself. Salman Khan’s Kisi ka Bhai Kisi Ki Jaan hit the milestone on the third day.
Ranbir Kapoor’s Tu Jhoothi Main Makkaar joined the Rs 50-crore club on Day 4, while Adah Sharma’s The Kerala Story took five days to reach the landmark. Ajay Devgn’s Bholaa, Kartik Aaryan-Kiara Advani’s SatyaPrem Ki Katha and Vicky Kaushal-Sara Ali Khan-starrer Zara Hatke Zara Bachke hit the mark on Day 6, Day 7 and Day 10, respectively.
