The new comedy-drama series Ghosh Babur Retirement Plan, which is streaming on Addatimes now, stars Ranjit Mallick in the lead role along with Anuradha Roy, Aryann Bhowmik and Adrija Roy. Directed by Haranath Chakraborty, the story of the show begins with Ghosh Babu retiring from his job after 42 years. After his retirement, Ghosh Babu tries to engage himself in various activities but fails to do so. He ultimately stands as a candidate for his apartment's chairman election. With a new beginning, Ghosh Babu learns that not all friendly faces are real friends. His long-time college friend Talukdar turns out to be the biggest challenge for him and the whole building. With the arrival of Tutu, the young, vibrant, USA-returned nephew, Ghosh Babu finds a new perspective on life. Meanwhile, Ghosh Babu also acts as Cupid in the brewing love story between his nephew Tutu and Nandita.
