Rani Mukerji, Anirban Bhattacharya and other members of Team Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway recently came together to celebrate the success of the Ashima Chibber directorial that has garnered positive reviews from fans, stars and critics.

Anirban, who plays the role of Rani's husband in the film, shared photos from the party on Instagram on Friday.

Rani, who has received rave reviews for her portrayal of the distraught mother Debika Chatterjee in the film, was dressed in a stunning satin yellow kurti with brown palazzos and a beaded necklace.

Anirban looked cool in a blue t-shirt paired with a black blazer and trouser set. Jim Sarbh opted for a white-and-black printed shirt with black denim pants and boots. The 35-year-old actor plays the role of the Norwegian-Indian lawyer Daniel Singh Ciupek who eventually develops a soft spot for Debika.

Joining them was film director Ashima and actress Balaji Gauri, who plays the role of Debika’s lawyer in the film.

"I'll always have your back, Mrs Chatterjee," Balaji wrote, sharing a picture with Rani from their get-together.

Based on Kolkata woman Sagorika Chatterjee's real life story, Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway centres around Debika Chatterjee and Aniruddha Chatterjee whose children are taken away by the Norwegian foster care system owing to cultural differences.

The drama, produced by Nikkhil Advani, follows Debika's struggle to get her children back.

Shah Rukh Khan, Anushka Sharma, Katrina Kaif and Vicky Kaushal were among the several celebrities who lauded the film and the performance of the actors in it.

Mrs Chatterjee vs Norway, which also stars Neena Gupta, Anurag Chatterjee and Barun Chanda, released on March 17 this year. It has earned around Rs 30 crore at the box office so far.
