Ranbir Kapoor’s Animal passed the crucial Monday test with flying colours, managing to rake in an impressive Rs 40 crore nett on its fourth day and outshining Shah Rukh Khan’s Jawan, which had earned Rs 32.92 crore nett on its first Monday.

Having amassed a whopping Rs 241 crore nett in India alone, the Sanddep Reddy Vanga-helmed actioner has been a force to reckon with since its release on December 1. It registered an opening day collection of Rs 63.8 crore nett, followed by Rs 66.27 crore nett on Saturday and Rs 71.46 crore nett on Sunday.

Also featuring Anil Kapoor, Bobby Deol and Rashmika Mandanna, Animal grossed Rs 425 crore in terms of global collection till Monday. "#Animal conquers Monday!🔥🪓," the makers wrote on Instagram.
