The actor has voiced the Ice Elf Barca in the Hindi, Tamil and Telugu versions of the second season of anime series Solo Leveling

Actor Rana Daggubati, who has voiced Barca in the Hindi, Tamil and Telugu versions of Solo Leveling Season 2, met fans at a special screening of Solo Leveling: ReAwakening in Delhi Comic Con on December 6.
Solo Leveling: Reawakening, the first film in the anime franchise, offers a recap of the previous season of the show, along with a sneak peek of the first couple of episodes of the upcoming instalment.
Rana made a surprise appearance at the event, which took place at NSIC Exhibition Grounds Okhla, New Delhi. The actor kept it casual in a black jacket over a matching t-shirt with Crunchyroll’s logo and trousers. He paired his outfit with black-and-red sneakers and a white cap.

Adding to the excitement, Rana also visited Crunchyroll’s booth at the ongoing event. He explored the immersive Solo Leveling Dome, an immersive set up where a sneak peek of highly-anticipated scenes from the series were played.
Speaking about the experience, Rana said, “Bringing Barca to life across three languages has been an exciting challenge, but the real reward is connecting with fans who really love anime. Seeing their energy and excitement at the screening and at Comic Con was truly special. Anime is becoming a cultural phenomenon in India, and I’m honored to be part of this incredible journey.”
At the event, Rana shared his experience of voicing Barca and stepping into the world of anime. Barca, the formidable boss of the Red Gate Dungeon, is set to showcase his unparalleled sword mastery, speed, and stealth in the second season of Solo Leveling. The upcoming instalment promises an epic showdown between Barca and the protagonist Jinwoo.
Rana took a picture with fans at the event, which celebrates “Solo Leveling’s epic storytelling and the ever-growing anime community in India”.
Solo Leveling is adapted from Chugong's bestselling Korean web novel of the same name. In 2018, Chugong adapted the novel into a webtoon and manhwa with illustrations by DUBU. The first season debuted globally on Crunchyroll on January 6, with the second season coming in January 2025.
