South Indian actress Rambha recently met with her Minsara Kanna co-star Thalapathy Vijay ‘after years’, she said in an Instagram post on Wednesday, sharing a set of photos from their get-together.

“It was nice meeting you and catching up after years at @actorvijay :) Congratulations! Wish you the very best,” the actress, known for her roles in films from the 1990s to early 2000s, wrote alongside an Instagram carousel carrying pictures of her meeting Vijay with her family.

Rambha was accompanied by her husband Indrakumar Pathmanathan and their two children, Sasha Padmanathan and Lavanya Pathmanathan. In the photos, Vijay can be seen enjoying himself with the kids. For the get-together, the Leo actor sported a faded black shirt paired with matching trousers, while Rambha donned a black dress with a monochrome cropped coat.

Fans flooded the comments section with their excitement over the duo’s reunion. One of them called Vijay and Rambha an “evergreen pair”. Another wrote, “Mind going to Ninaithen vandhai & Minsara kanna.” A fan was also enthusiastic about a possible sequel to their 1999 film Endrendrum Kadhal.

Vijay and Rambha collaborated on several popular ’90s films like Minsara Kanna, Endrendrum Kadhal, Sukran and Ninaithen Vandhai.
