Ramabanam
The official trailer of Kolkata-set Telugu-language action film Ramabanam is now out. Directed by Sriwass, the film stars Gopichand, Jagapathi Babu, Kushboo Sundar, Dimple Hayathi and Tarun Raj Arora.
The two-minute-17-second-long trailer shows a rowdy man (Gopichand) falling in love with a Kolkata-based vlogger. The man is also the brother of an honest politician, who is waging a war against a corrupt industrialist. The clip is filled with highly stylised action sequences.
Ramabanam will arrive in cinemas on May 5.
Taj: Reign of Revenge
Zee5 unveiled the official trailer for its period drama series Taj: Reign of Revenge on Thursday. The follow-up season of Taj: Divided by Blood, it is directed by Vibhu Puri and stars Dharmendra, Naseeruddin Shah, Rahul Bose, Aditi Rao Hydari, Zarina Wahab, Sandhya Mridul, Aashim Gulati and Taaha Shah.
In the two-minute-20-second-long trailer, we see Mughal prince Salim returning to India after a 15-year exile imposed upon him by his father. He vows to avenge his lost love Anarkali’s death and hatches a plan to exact revenge on all those who wronged him.
Taj: Reign of Revenge will be streaming on Zee5 from May 12.
White Men Can't Jump
Hulu on Thursday released the official trailer of its upcoming sports comedy film White Men Can't Jump. It is the remake of the hit 1992 film starring Wesley Snipes and Woody Harrelson. The upcoming film is directed by Calmatic and stars Sinqua Walls and Jack Harlow in lead roles.
The two-minute-36-second-long trailer is full of on-court trash talk as two men play basketball at a gym court. The film is about basketball hustlers who think that white men can’t play as well as black men.
White Men Can't Jump will arrive on Hulu on May 19.
Lessons in Chemistry
Apple TV dropped the official first look at its upcoming drama series Lessons in Chemistry on Friday. Adapted by Susannah Grant, the series stars Brie Larson in the lead role alongside Lewis Pullman, Aja Naomi King, Stephanie Koenig and Patrick Walker.
The 44-second-long teaser shows a female scientist named Elizabeth Zott (Larson) in 1960s America as she begins using a cooking show to educate housewives on scientific topics.
