Actor Ram Charan and his wife Upasana Kamineni Konidela will welcome their first baby in India, ending speculations that the couple might plan to have their first child in the US.
In one of her recent tweets, Upasana, who is an entrepreneur and holds a high position at the Apollo Hospitals, confirmed that her delivery would take place in India.“I am thrilled to have our first baby delivered in our home country — India, surrounded by a world class medical OB/GYN team at The Apollo Hospitals, including Dr Sumana Manohar, Dr Rooma Sinha and now Dr Jennifer Ashton from the Good Morning America Show. This journey holds many exciting experiences for us and we look forward to this new phase in our lives with great anticipation,” she wrote.
Ram Charan recently appeared at popular American show Good Morning America and offered Dr Jennifer Ashton, chief medical correspondent of the US show, a chance to be a part of his wife's Ob-Gyn team, fuelling rumours that the couple would like to welcome their firstborn in the US instead of India.
The RRR actor had announced his wife’s pregnancy via Instagram on December 12 last year.
