A day after grabbing eyeballs with her ‘dreamy’ Falguni Shane Peacock lehenga from her sangeet, newlywed actress Rakul Preet Singh has shared pictures of her mehendi outfit — a pink-and-orange embellished lehenga boasting phulkari designs.

“Adding colour to my life,” the Doctor G actress wrote on Instagram on Tuesday alongside pictures of her and Jackky enjoying the ritual.

Rakul’s ensemble included a floor-sweeping ethnic jacket featuring mirror work on the shoulders. Her blouse, with a plunging neckline, was adorned with floral and geometric motifs. The embroidered skirt was also detailed with golden zari. A messy bun, a floral mangtika and layered danglers completed Rakul’s look.

Jackky sported a three-piece magenta sherwani — a short-sleeved coat with mandarin collars worn over a full-sleeved kurta and matching trousers. Buttoned down in the front, the textured coat featured a golden rear.

While Rakul’s outfit was designed by Arpita Mehta, Kunal Rawal served as Jackky’s couturier.

Rakul had recently posted a video montage of her wedding rituals on Instagram, which contained snippets of their mehendi ceremony.

In the video, Rakul and Jackky are seen shaking a leg before locking each other in a warm embrace.

Bhakshak actress Bhumi Pednekar, who had attended the couple’s wedding with her sister Samiksha Pednekar, also reacted to Rakul's Mehendi outfit with a heart emoji.
