Actors Rajkummar Rao and Aparshakti Khurana will reportedly begin shooting for Stree 2 in March next year. The sequel to Amar Kaushik’s 2018 directorial debut Stree will be shot across four cities.

The possibility of Stree 2 was hinted at in a mid-credit scene in the Varun Dhawan-Kriti Sanon-starrer Bhediya, also directed by Amar Kaushik. The scene saw Rajkummar’s Vicky and Aparshakti’s Bittu reuniting with Abhishek Banerjee’s Jaana. The dance number Thumkeshwari also saw Shraddha Kapoor, who played the title role of Stree in the 2018 film, making a surprising entrance midway into the song.

“The end credit scene in Bhediya where Rajkummar Rao (Vicky) and Aparshakti Khurana (Bittu) are seen is a clear giveaway that there is Stree 2 in the pipeline. The original star cast of the 2018 movie Stree will be gearing up for the shoot from March 2023,” said a source in the production house.
